Billeting Information

Jr. Bison Billet Program

The Boulder Junior Bison offers its players the ability to stay with a local host family during the hockey season. We encourage local families to participate I the billet program and a way to give back to the community.

We expect all players to abide by the rules in the Player Code of Conduct and Billet Agreement during their stay. Players will also be expected to follow all house rules as set forth by the host family.

Each player will pay a fee of $275 per month for room and board due on the 1st day of every month. If payment is not received, please contact the Billet Coordinator immediately:

Players are required to:

  • treat billeting family with respect
  • keep room clean and orderly
  • do their own laundry
  • attend school or work
  • eat with billet family and be on time
  • be home by 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday or 11:30pm Friday and Saturday (in the event there is a scheduled team event or late practice/game, your player should be home no more then 1 hour after its conclusion)
  • gain your permission to host any visitors
  • not give out your telephone number without your permission
Please contact the Billet Coordinator immediately if:
  • the player needs medical attention
  • the player causes any damage to your property
  • you suspect use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs (illegal or legal)
  • you find pornographic material in the player’s room
  • the player is not attending school or work
  • if you leave to go out of town (with or without the player)
Players are not required to:
  • participate in personal or family functions (i.e. church, family gatherings, etc.), but we welcome you to invite your player
The success of our program depends on our ability to bring players in from out of state and make them part of our community. We want this to be a positive situation for both the player and the host family.  The key is to communicate any issues with the Billet Coordinator as soon as they arise so they can be resolved immediately.

We thank you for your participation.

Please contact Brent Cullaton for further information or if you would like to participate in our Billet Program.
