Mission Statement

Our mission is to motivate and inspire ‘Junior’ athletes to be successful in hockey and in life.   We believe in running a professionally managed program that develops strong discipline, attitude, work ethic, teamwork and professionalism needed to succeed in a hockey career at the collegiate level.  Our goal is to develop young men who strive to be student athletes, productive members of society and who give back to their community.  The Boulder Jr. Bison follow the mold of the existing BHC’s solid foundation of player development and includes our Mentoring program to younger players.

2012-2013 Boulder Bison

This was the 3rd consecutive year the Bison have made it into the WSHL Playoffs.  The Bison finished up their 2011-2012 regular season with a 33-10-3-0 record which put them in 2nd place in the Mountain Conference.  Boulder swept the first round of playoffs with 2 wins out scoring the Cheyenne Stampede 12-2.  Second round proved to be much tougher versus the Idaho Steelheads (2012 Thorne Cup Campions).  The boys forced a game 3 by winning in 2OT but fell short in game 3 losing 2-4.  There were 9 players called up this season to play Tier II in both the US and Canada.
